5/5/08: Updated the Instructions for Creating Requests for Exceptions document on the Animal Use eSirius Application Forms page.
2/6/08: Updated the Anesthesia & Analgesia Guidelines for Rats (note there is a different recommended dosage for buprenorphine) on the Anesthesia & Analgesia Guidelines page, updated the forms for the Request for Exemption and Program Project/Training Grant on the Exemptions from Standard Protocol Review page, and uploaded the special AAALAC edition mini-Backbone, or "Vertebra" on the Backbone page to help you prepare for the upcoming site visit in March.
1/21/08: Updated the Animal & Drug Ordering FAQs. Updated the Expired Protocols policy and the Form 8225-C for intra-university transfers.
12/20/07: PIs and Laboratory Staff: Make sure you are using the LATEST VERSION of the eSirius Access Request Form and the 8225-A, 8225-C, and 8225-D forms! Click on each link to download.

11/6/07: Another new policy: The UCUCA Policy On Use of “Fee-for-Service” Protocols and Centers was added to the Protocol Review Policies page.
9/18/07: New policies alert! On the Animal Use Policies page, the UCUCA Policy on Food and Water Restriction or Manipulation in Laboratory Animals and the UCUCA Policy on Physical Restraint in Research Animals are new. The UCUCA Policy on the Use of Expired Medical Materials and Non-Pharmaceutical-Grade Compounds has been updated.
Also, the most recent PHS Assurance and USDA Inspection letter have been uploaded to the Information Requested for Grants page.
